The Group increased its investment in renewable energy projects and industry funds. It leveraged land resources including open-cut mine dumps, reclamation areas and idle land along the railway to invest in and construct photovoltaic projects. The increased installed capacity of photovoltaic power generation for external commercial operation was 366 MW in 2024. As at the end of 2024, Beijing Guoneng New Energy Industry Investment Fund and Beijing Guoneng Green and Low-Carbon Development Investment Fund, which were established with the participation of the Company, had completed the investments in the merger and acquisition of a number of new energy projects covering photovoltaic, wind power and hydrogen equipment manufacturing.
